phoenixnutritionals.com (CLICK HERE) For years, medical doctors have touted the benefit of taking calcium and perhaps a magnesium supplement to slow down the progression of bone loss, a condition called osteoporosis. They have been reluctant however, to go so far as to say that these minerals can prevent or improve osteoporosis. This is because early studies indicated that taking calcium did not effectively increase bone density in menopausal and post-menopausal women. Recent studies however show that osteoporosis and bone loss can indeed be controlled and even reversed by the right combination of calcium, magnesium and select trace minerals. Studies conducted on osteoporosis and bone loss patients at the University of California at San Diego, have shown that when calcium and magnesium are combined with the right ratio of the trace minerals boron, manganese, copper, zinc and most recently, strontium, the return of calcium ions to bone tissue accelerates as much as ten-fold. Further, the calcium and magnesium used for osteoporosis and bone loss must be an acidified, chelated form for maximum absorption. Studies repeatedly show that a combination of citrates and malates provide the best absorption to combat bone loss and clinical osteoporosis. Alternatives to potentially dangerous drugs for osteoporosis include the right forms of calcium together with key trace minerals such as zinc, copper, manganese and strontium. As we age, bone loss and osteoporosis become an increasing …

See link for written article: vitatalks.com The mineral calcium provides a simple, cheap and effective means of enhancing weight, and fat loss. It also has good scientific backing. A recent study (Sept 2010) showed that increasing calcium intake from dairy products significantly improves weight loss. Vitamin D also helps weight loss. Another study (July 2010) showed that taking calcium supplements enhanced fat burning in post menopausal women.

There are several causes of kidney stones. One of the major causes occurs when calcium become too alkaline and crystallizes, causing kidney stones, gall stones, etc. Dr Whiting
what is the connection with formation of kidney stones … could it be its non absorption ? ie 4 other minerals? or is there another cycle malfunc.? that could lead to stones?thanks –
What’s wrong with the people and this video, and not hearing the guy…!!!??!!!
If you actually listen, he covers 99% of what should be covered, yet people still ask the “What about *****…?” questions.
@nirvgardengod He said it’s like rocks.
@MisterQuebec 5:03 – “And of course a good Ca supplement will contain the other known factors such as Vitamin D, Boron, Mg, and so forth.”
talk about not listening to the man!!!

People stop “thumbs-up”‘ing MisterQuebec’s comment and use your ears.
@nirvgardengod: Not well absorbs. I will be placing a naturopatic approach for skeletal issues on my channel soon. It will be posted on the comment section, but will only remaon post for a few days.
@MisterQuebec: You give doctors too much credit; take into consideration that maybe he does not know.
if you have osteoporosis you should take vitamin K-1 and K-2 and lift light weights 3xtimes a week …eat cabbage , brococoli , swiss chard , kale , Dandelion Greens , Arugula,,,,, ,and take silica and buy mineral water imported from Germany called GEROLSTEINER …..Containing 348 mg of calcium and 108 mg of magnesium a liter of Gerolsteiner mineral water and provides a third of the recommended daily amount of both minerals ! ps. no dary products and cut down on animal protein !!
dont forget to consume saturated fats (natural) with calcium and vita d and other fat soluable fat vitamins and minerals.
sat fats allow it to be incorporated into bone, that is why low fat diets(esp low saturated fat) cause osteroperosis. especially thin woman or menopausal thin
woman.
how about coral calcium?
Please call my office.
Dr Whiting
Hello, Dr Whiting
I have a question. The company that I work for made a successfull experiment 2 years ago. They obtained nano-calcium from horse bone. this calcium has a white color and in powder form. Is acidic calcium? Also, what kind of products can we manufacture? can we sell it as it is? what are the markets that buy calcium like ours? Thank you.
exercise and sunshine (vitamin D), fresh greens > calcium supplementation or milk
amazing video clip
We include organic strontium as part of all of our calcium formulas. Due to its ability to increase calcium to bone. We do not recommend super high does of any minerals as this can imbalance body chemistry.
Thank you for your videos! I was wondering what do you think about the high does stontium supplement? You have not videos on the subject.
Thank you!
vitamin k is crucial for “cementing” calcium to bone. Tezstosterone in men is also a major player.
Great video tahnks
ca is important for bones. osteoclasts. it is rgulated by pth. pth increases ca conc. hence hyper pth
ca has to be acidic to be absorbed. age casues loss of acidifying ability. hence absorption of all medicines that are absorbed from stomach.

Please do a swine flu and address the tamiflu situation. Since swine flu is the biggest thing in the news right now. I hope it comes out soon
Thanks for posting.

Thanks for responding. I’ll give the liquid calcium a try. Thanks.
The only people saying that taking supplements is bad are the drug companies!!! Calciumn is very difficult to absorb so crushing is a good idea. You can also obtain a liquid calcium, which is the one we use with our clients here. It is available from the phoenix nutritionals website.
Thanks dr.whiting. But can you answer me this-
Why are they saying taking supplements are bad?
Is it ok for me to take calcium?
One more thing, I always crush the tablets into powder and drink with orange juice. I have half a tablet in the morning with food, and half in the evening. Is this a good method?
Please reply. Thank you.
I want to talk about D3 and then Calcium and Magnessium.
After reading research I started on 3000 units of D3 everyday and my health improved over the next months dramatically !
My frequent colds and flues were replaced with one 10 hour virus over a 12 month period.
My watery eyes and spring allergies were replaced with a nose that works properly and NO ALLERGIES ?
Now I’m adding Calcium/Magnesium D3 liquid as these combinations made my mother and brother thin again ???
WOW !!!
What is a bone source of calcium in the United States?
@TheRogueMonk It contains CLA yes. CLA helps weight loss true. However studies have showed enhanced weight loss by taking calcium supplements on their own.
@TheRogueMonk Could be true yes
@TheRogueMonk I believe that raw milk is fine. Once milk is heat treated, that changes protein structure in the milk, destroying most of the whey protein – the most highly nutritious protein component.
Lactose in raw milk is less likely to be a problem, as there are naturally occuring bacteria still remaining in the milk, these digest bacteria digest lactose.

@TheRogueMonk the irony is that altough they say 90% of asians have lactose intollerance but they dont have so much probem with their own diary product..
my father is very intollerant but can drink milk from various asian countries..
i think cows in norway have more lactose because they have to eat stored food because of a longer winter period then most countires as well. l
people will react differently to different diary from different places as well..
@TheRogueMonk this might really be 1 of the factors to why these diary consuming countries have less fat people and more natural looking women , natural i mean less fat
@TheRogueMonk actually this was very interesting because in my opinion in countries where diary products are consumed specially where the milk is natural the women look more feline and dnice looking!
in middle east where i come from which is also in asia people almost consume diary as a staple just like rice is.. also here in norway in the north milk is natural and a staple at schools .. while this is not true in many fat countires like america , canada and the other western countries
doesnt milk contain cla and that mask and confuse people
most people actually have lactose arlergy….
